After completing his apprenticeship and progressing through the ranks as a foreman / supervisor, Karl became a Project Manager at a leading Suffolk electrical contractor for 20 years.

When starting the Company, Karl & Kerry wanted to put their staff and customers first. Karl has developed Karma Electrical with a loyal team that has positive energy and dedication to our Clients.

Karl now has over 40 years’ experience in the electrical and fire industry and still believes that every day is a learning day. In his spare time, Karl loves taking trips to the Lake District, enjoying the peace and quiet. Also swimming every morning before work (trying to emulate his youth as a county swimmer!) helps to prepare for the day ahead.

Beginning her career in banking, Kerry has been working in the electrical industry for over 35 years as an administrator and bookkeeper.

She has been with Karma Electrical full time since 2019. She is very proud of the reputation that the team has built and that the Company stays true to its ethos.

In her spare time Kerry loves to spend time with her family and friends. Having 4 grandsons keeps her busy but to relax she enjoys crafting, gardening and paddleboarding.

With over 38 years of experience in the electrical industry, Helen has developed extensive knowledge of both domestic and commercial electrical services, including work related to fire alarms and detection systems.

Beginning her career as a receptionist, she progressed into a key administrative and co-ordination role, working closely with engineers, customers and suppliers to support the smooth running of projects and daily operations.

Her experience has given her a strong understanding of the practical and organisational aspects of the industry, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills developed through many years of customer and engineer liaison.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys keeping active through walking and gardening, which she finds both relaxing and rewarding.

Kirsty joined the Team in 2021, she is our Accounts and Administration Assistant where she handles a wide variety of administrative tasks.

Kirsty started her career in the financial industry, gaining experience in insurance, short-term loans and mortgages, allowing her to build key skills for her current role. She thrives on new challenges, takes pride in keeping processes running smoothly and enjoys being part of a friendly, collaborative team.

Outside of work, Kirsty is a busy mum of two who enjoys spending time with close friends and family, catching up over coffee and breakfast.

Mark leads the newest division at Karma Electrical – Security and TEC, bringing over 20 years of industry experience and a wealth of practical knowledge to the role.

Having progressed from apprentice through to service and project management, Mark has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both customers and engineers on the ground.

This hands-on journey has shaped his approach to work and is central to the way he delivers projects, he has a strong focus on practical solutions.

Outside of work, Mark is passionate about sport, particularly supporting local clubs. He actively contributes to local clubs and appreciates the social value grassroots sport brings to local communities

Matthew started his career at a leading Suffolk electrical company in 1986, working in all aspects of the industry, and remained a dedicated employee until 2018 when he was appointed Fire alarm contracts manager at Karma Electrical.

Over the last 40 years he has built up a wealth of knowledge, qualifications and experience to support a large customer base further enhancing Karma’s already professional team.

Matthew is a self-motivated, enthusiastic electrical engineer specialising in the service and repair of fire alarms systems, emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers.

Matthew is committed to providing a quality and reliable service to ensure customer satisfaction and continued company success.

Away from work he has a strong connection with the motor trade with a passion for maintaining and driving his collection of classic cars.

Jamie started his career as an apprentice at a leading Suffolk-based electrical contractor who specialised in fire alarm system installations. After qualifying, he quickly progressed to a foreman role.

Jamie joined Karma Electrical in 2016 and saw an opportunity to further grow his passion for fire alarm systems.

He has since progressed into a managerial role as Fire Alarm Project Manager and brings over 15 years of experience and knowledge within the fire industry. He is FireQual qualified in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Jamie believes in creating a positive work environment to deliver the best service possible for everyone involved.

With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, Stuart brings a broad range of knowledge across installation, maintenance, and compliance.

Stuart began his career at a leading Suffolk electrical contractor, where he progressed through the ranks to become the NICEIC Electrical Supervisor.

During his 20 years with the company, he gained extensive hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance work, running projects, and working with fire alarm systems.

In 2016, Stuart joined Karma Electrical at the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor. Since then, he has continued to expand his expertise by gaining additional qualifications in EV charging systems, Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS), photovoltaic (PV) systems, and domestic ventilation systems.

He takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance across all areas of electrical work.

Outside of work, Stuart enjoys staying active and makes the most of his free time playing golf, mountain biking and following Ipswich Town Football Club.
